Welcome to ideaFest 2022!
Join us as more than 400 Students, Faculty, and Staff from Cal Poly Humboldt will showcase research, performances, digital projects, and more!
This year we are combining the in-person event with additional virtual presentations. Walk around to see posters and talk with presenters and enjoy scheduled Zoom presentations at several locations. There will be live music, dance, and theater performances, too, as we welcome you back in person.
If you are interested in participating, click on the Registration button above. The deadline to register is Monday, April 25, 2022. We hope you also consider publishing your poster in Humboldt Digital Commons and a research paper in the ideaFest Journal.
Anyone from the Cal Poly Humboldt community can also submit their academic essays or research articles for the next issue of ideaFest Journal, Humboldt's own peer-reviewed academic journal. The deadline to submit your publication proposals is December 31, 2022. For more information about ideaFest Journal contact Kyle Morgan at email@example.com.
This year’s ideaFest is sponsored by the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs, Marketing & Communications, and the Library in collaboration with the Colleges. We are all excited for the opportunity to support the development and dissemination of research & creative activities at Cal Poly Humboldt, in person, once again.
*Please Note - Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County, faculty, staff, students, and guests who are accessing campus facilities at any University location must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including a booster shot if eligible. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result is required for any visitor who is over the age of 12 accessing campus events. Faculty, staff, and students only need to show their HSU ID.
Wearing face masks in the library for this event is strongly encouraged and will be provided at the entrance if needed.
